The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announced today that during the upcoming 2013 fire season on public land in Idaho, the public is invited to follow current news on wildfire activity and suppression efforts with BLM's new Idaho statewide Twitter. Fire news updates will be continuously posted at the following Twitter address: www.twitter.com/blmidahofire.

The BLM in Idaho has one of the largest and most complex fire management programs in the BLM, protecting and managing wildfire on approximately 11 million acres of public rangelands and forests in central and southern parts of the State.
