TAOS, N.M. – On March 7 at 7:45 a.m., the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Taos Field Office will open its new office at 1024 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Taos, New Mexico 87571. The new location will provide a more modern environment to serve the public better while the staff carries out the agency's mission.

“We are happy to have a prominent location and improved visibility on the main street,” says Field Manager Pamela Mathis.

The field office will close the door for the last time at the 226 Cruz Alta Road location on March 3, 2022, at 4:15 p.m. In-person services will not be provided on March 4 and virtual services are limited due to the move. The agency has successfully carried its duties out at this location since 1994. All Taos Field Office phone numbers will remain the same.

Continuing to safely serve the public during the COVID-19 remains a priority for the Taos Field Office. We encourage visitors to contact the office for the latest office hours and availability, which are subject to change as this situation evolves.

If the public would like to contact the Taos Field Office, they should call 575-758-8851 or email at blm_nm_tafo_admin@blm.gov. Phone connections may be unavailable until March 7.
