BLM seeks comment on proposed fuels reduction project near Uncle Bob Mountain Road

The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comment on a proposal to reduce hazardous fuels for wildfires south of the Town of Silt near Uncle Bob Mountain Road and Clear Creek.

The BLM will hold a public meeting to review the proposal and answer questions about the project in the main conference room of the BLM’s Colorado River Valley Field Office, 2300 River Frontage Road, Silt, CO 81652 on Friday, March 20 at 5 p.m. The project environmental analysis is available online at http://www.blm.gov/co/st/en/BLM_Information/nepa/gsfo.html.

Comments and questions should be directed to the BLM’s Colorado River Valley Field Office at 2300 River Frontage Road, Silt, CO 81652 or submitted online to blm_co_si_crvfo_webmail@blm.gov. Comments will be most helpful if received by April 17, 2015.
