ROSWELL, N.M. –The Bureau of Land Management Roswell Field Office will host a virtual open house on May 20 from 5-6 p.m. During the event, the BLM will introduce their leadership team, provide an overview of major projects, and highlight some of the popular recreation areas within the field office.

The public can expect to receive details on popular recreation areas such as the Rob Jaggers Campground, the Valley of Fires Recreation Area, and the Ft. Stanton-Snowy River Cave National Conservation Area. There will also be opportunities for the public to engage with BLM staff and ask questions about these areas during the virtual meeting.

“The BLM Roswell Field Office has been very busy over this past year,” stated BLM Roswell Field Manager Chuck Schmidt. “We look forward to updating the public on what we have been up to, who is on our team, and where they can go to enjoy public lands.”
