BLM Rescinds Emergency Closure for Eagle Creek Road

COTTONWOOD, Idaho – The Bureau of Land Management Cottonwood Field Office has announced that effectively immediately, the Eagle Creek Road is open from the intersection of Zaza Road to the Salmon River.  It had been under a temporary emergency closure order because of fire suppression activities that BLM was conducting and to ensure public health and safety.  

The Eagle Creek Road is a narrow road that is one of the primary access points to the Craig Mountain Wildlife Management Area.
