This EA and FONSI are available for a 15-day public comment period ending on June 18, 2018.  A copy of the EA is available on the project webpage at https://goo.gl/HmtS9k.

The project’s purpose is to complete testing of existing natural gas transmission pipelines, install in-line inspection equipment, and perform continued operation and maintenance activities.  This project supports administration energy independence goals of streamlining oil/gas leasing and permitting as well as streamlining rights-of-way processing for pipelines, transmission lines and solar/wind projects.

Please send written comments to Deputy District Manager Greg Miller, BLM California Desert District, 22835 Calle San Juan de Los Lagos, Moreno Valley, CA 92553.  Comments may also be submitted electronically via the project webpage (under the "Contact Information" section); via email at BLM_CA_PG_and_E_Hydrostatic_Testing@blm.gov; or fax 951-697-5296, with the subject heading "PG&E Strength Testing and In-Line Inspection EA.”
