Roseburg, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will lift the emergency closure associated with the Tyee fire on lands administered by the BLM, Roseburg District on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

The signed order rescinding the closure is available online at: https://www.blm.gov/programs/public-safety-and-fire/fire-and-aviation/regional-info/oregon-washington/fire-restrictions

This order shall go into effect at 12:01 a.m. PDT on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

“We ask that the public be cautious and watch for fire vehicle activity on the roadways,” said Michael Korn, Swiftwater Field Manager. “Removing this closure will allow the public to regain access to public lands, but there is still potential for some traffic associated with the fire suppression and repair.”
