Off-highway vehicle enthusiasts can share their thoughts and suggestions about projects that would benefit their sport, during a Bureau of Land Management public meeting, Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 5 p.m., at the Eagle Lake Field Office, 2550 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA 96130.

Staff from the BLM will use the comments to develop a California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division grant request. The OHMVR Grants and Cooperative Agreements Program supports off-highway vehicle recreation in California by providing financial assistance to cities, counties, districts, federal agencies, state agencies, educational institutions, and federally recognized Native American tribes and nonprofit entities.

The BLM Eagle Lake Field Office uses state grant funds for operation, maintenance, law enforcement patrol and acquisition at OHV recreation areas, including Fort Sage near Doyle and Rice Canyon, near Susanville.

Those unable to attend the meeting can send written comments to the BLM at the above address, or email written comments to mbwillia@blm.gov, by 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14.
