DOLORES, Colo. –The Bureau of Land Management announced today, the deferral of five parcels within San Miguel, Dolores and Montrose counties associated with the February 2014 oil and gas lease sale.

In May 2013, the BLM requested public comments on the five parcels proposed for the oil and gas lease sale totaling 5,443 acres. The deferral allows the BLM additional time to conduct further analysis of the proposed lease parcels. Once the analysis is complete the parcels may be offered as early as the May 2014 lease sale or at a later sale.
