BLM Closes Muddy Creek Road in Southwest Wyoming

The Bureau of Land Management Pinedale Field Office has closed Muddy Creek Road, about 15 miles southwest of La Barge, Wyoming, for public safety effective immediately. The road was closed due to a washout around a culvert and will remain closed until repairs are completed.  

Road closure signs have been posted, and crews will be working to fix the road beginning next week. 

Anyone trying to reach areas around the closure from U.S. Route 189 can take Muddy Creek Road for access on the east side and La Barge Creek Road for access on the west side of the washout.
