Subject: 2012 Fire and Aviation Management Post-Season Meeting Notification DD: 10/15/2012
The Wyoming Fire and Aviation Management Post-Season meeting will be held Thursday, November 1,
2012 starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Rock Springs Field
Office’s Pilot Butte Room located at 280 Highway 191 North in Rock Springs, Wyoming. The Fire
Leadership Team, and their standing committees, will be meeting the day before in Rock Springs at the
same location.
The target audience for the meeting on November 1, 2012, as per 2012 Interagency Standards for Fire and
Fire Aviation Operations policy, includes Wyoming State Office Agency Administrators, District
Managers, Field Managers, and District Fire Management Officers. Resource, Safety, Public
Information, and other Fire and Aviation staff are cordially invited and encouraged to attend as well.
At this time, we are requesting fire, fuels, and aviation presentations and agenda items from the Field and
District Offices. Please provide this information to Paul Hohn (phohn@blm.gov) at the Wyoming State
Office by October 15, 2012, using the attached agenda form. The pre-season fire management meeting
agenda is pending based upon the agenda development and confirmation of speakers, and will be
distributed via e-mail prior to the meeting.
