We are pleased to announce the availability of the recently published Classroom Investigation Series: Wilderness Teaching Guide. This publication is the first edition in a series of thematic Classroom Investigations teaching guides that can be used by BLM offices in partnership with secondary schools and teachers to educate young people about public lands and resources in an engaging manner.
We are enclosing an initial preview copy for you. You are encouraged to coordinate with your office Forms Manager to order additional copies (up to 100 per order) free of charge from the BLM Printed Materials Distribution Services at the National Operations Center. The PMDS item number is EE2042. The email address for orders is blm_oc_pmds@blm.gov. Please distribute booklets to BLM staff who work with schools and out-of-school education programs within your State Office or field office. Copies can also be made available at other appropriate education venues.
The booklet is also downloadable from the BLM Learning Landscapes webpage at http://www.blm.gov/education.
