BLM Manual MS-8320 Planning for Recreation and Visitor Services

Release number 8-81, issued March 29, 2011, is superseded by this release.

This release transmits a revised BLM Manual 8320 to include the administrative designation of Backcountry Conservation Areas (BCAs) as a type of Recreation Management Area (RMA). This Manual revision provides general policy, direction, and guidance for planning for recreation and visitor services on the public lands and associated waters under the administration of the BLM, supplementing 43 CFR Part 1600.
