The Upper and Lower Table Rocks near Medford, Oregon, are two of the most prominent topographic features in the Rogue River Valley. The Table Rocks are designated to protect the special plants and animal species, unique geologic and scenic values, and provide educational opportunities. This area is managed by the BLM and The Nature Conservancy in partnership with the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde, and the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians – all working together to protect the Table Rocks for present and future generations. Information includes details on the wildlife of the area, trees and habitat,  The area is home to over 70 species of animal and 340 species of plants, including over 200 species of wildflowers. The unique geology of the Table Rocks was created by erosion from moving water, freezing and thawing, carving away at lava, leaving only the rocks.
