Beaver Creek Wild and Scenic River Brochure

PublicRoom_Alaska_Beaver-Creek-Brochure

Beaver Creek is a class I (smooth water) river float with a few short sections of class II water. Numerous gravel bars along the way provide excellent places to camp, fish, and observe a variety of wildlife. This road-to-road trip, from the put-in on Nome Creek Road to the take-out on the Dalton Highway, is more than 360 river miles.

This brochure provides safety tips and navigation information to plan a successful float trip, as well as information on the cultural history of the area, its unique geology, and the fish and wildlife you might see.
