Andrea Balles

Park Ranger Intern

Andrea Balles is a park ranger intern at the Moab and Monticello field offices for the Bureau of Land Management through the Direct Hiring Authority - Resource Assistant Internship Program facilitated by the Bureau of Land Management in partnership with American Conservation Experience. Andrea is actively creating interpretive and outreach materials for Bears Ears National Monument. In May of 2023, Annie anticipates completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies with minors in Earth and Environmental Sciences and Africana Studies. Andrea plans to continue pursuing a career as a caretaker for America’s public lands upon graduation.
