Final decision issued for Awapa Utah Prairie Dog habitat recovery project

The BLM Richfield Field Office has issued a final decision on the Awapa UPD Habitat Improvement DNA. The purpose of the project is to assist in the recovery of Utah Prairie Dog by implementing vegetation treatments that connect currently active and previously active UPD colonies, as well as provide additional suitable habitat.

Vegetation management and fuels reduction approved for East Fork-Mytoge

The BLM Richfield Field Office has issued a final decision on the East Fork-Mytoge Vegetation Management DNA. The purpose of the project is to remove of hazardous fuels around rural Utah communities, improve habitat conditions for Greater sage-grouse and mule deer, and increase perennial plant understory.

Sagebrush health and community fuel reduction authorized for Cedar Mountain-Willow Creek

The BLM Richfield Field Office has issued a final decision for the Cedar Mountain- Willow Creek Vegetation Management DNA. The purpose of the project is to improve sagebrush health, restore understory forbs and grasses, and remove hazardous fuels around communities.
