Tonopah Field Office has initiated a public comment period on the Stone Cabin Complex Herd Management Area Plan and Gather Plan

TONOPAH, Nev. – The Tonopah Field Office has developed a Herd Management Area Plan (HMAP) and Gather Plan Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Stone Cabin Complex, which includes the Stone Cabin, Saulsbury, and Little Fish Lake Herd Management Areas (HMAs). A 30-day public comment period to review the HMAP and Gather Plan EA will begin on May 15, 2026, and will end at 11:59 PM PDT on June 15, 2026.

The HMAP and Gather Plan has been prepared and is available for public review on: BLM National NEPA Register. Comments may be submitted through the “Participate Now” option on the project webpage.
