ELKO, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management Tuscarora Field Office announces the temporary closure of a road near Wilson Reservoir Recreation Area Campground. The closure will be implemented in two phases.

The road closure will begin at the junction of BLM Road 1094 and County Road 730 (IL Ranch Road), approximately 3.5 miles west of County Road 728, and will restrict access to the Wilson Reservoir Recreation Management Area Campground. Closure dates will be from August 20 through October 15, 2026.

This action is taken to minimize risk to the public and allow for safe construction during realignment and resurfacing of the road. The closure will not affect any other roads.

• Public access to the closure area.
