Event Description
Join us for a fun-filled day of restoration and community spirit! BLM is hosting a National Public Lands Day event where we’ll be creating Native Plant Seed Balls to help rejuvenate the burn area across from Hafen Park in Mesquite, Nevada.
Everyone is welcome to stop by Hafen Park at 450 E. Hafen Lane, Mesquite, NV 89027 (N36.797300°, W114.077700°). You’ll get to roll up some seed balls, then stroll across the street and toss them into the burned area to kickstart new growth. We’ll also have booths with activities, hands-on learning, and great info for all ages.
It’s a great chance to team up with your community, support the landscape, chat with our public lands staff, meet new neighbors, ask questions, and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors!
