Revisions to regulations regarding mining claims
The Department of the Interior has revised 3 regulations regarding locating, recording, and maintaining mining claims. The direct final rules revise regulations containing general provisions related to failure to comply, introduction, and site fees.
The BLM manages about 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people.
