Scout Energy Management LLC authorized to develop Quantico 1 oil wells
The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Quantico 1 Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2025-0118-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize three Applications for Permit to Scout Energy Management LLC (the applicant) to drill oil wells. The EA analyzed potential effects from drilling the wells, expanding the existing Humpback 1-23-8-17 well pad, and constructing associated pipelines within an existing road corridor. The project location is approximately eight miles southeast of Myton, Utah in Section 23, Township 8 South, Range 17 East in Uintah County, Utah in the Greater Monument Buttes Unit.

Crescent Energy Operating LLC approved for FP Alpine trust mineral oil wells
The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the FP Alpine Oil Wells: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0107-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize six Applications for Permit to Crescent Energy Operating LLC (the applicant) to drill oil wells. The EA analyzed potential non-surface effects from drilling six wells from an existing well pad. The project location is approximately 12.5 miles from Duchesne, Utah, in Section 35, Township 2 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah. The surface is privately owned but the wells will extract Indian Trust minerals from existing leases.

Middle Fork Energy Uinta, LLC authorized to construct NEBO well pad and gas wells
The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the NEBO Well Pad: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0077-EA. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will authorize thirteen Applications for Permit to Drill to Middle Fork Energy Uinta, LLC (the applicant) to drill gas wells. The EA analyzed well drilling and construction of a new well pad with associated access roads, pipelines, and a powerline. The project location is on BLM-administered lands in the Red Wash Unit, specifically the SWSE of Section 10, Township 7 South, Range 23 East, S.L.B.&M., Uintah County, Utah, approximately 28 miles southeast of Vernal, Utah.
