Proposed filing of plats of survey-North Dakota
The plats of surveys for the lands described in this notice are scheduled to be officially filed 30-calendar days after the date of this publication in the BLM Montana/Dakotas State Office, Billings, Montana. The surveys, which were executed at the request of the BLM Montana/Dakotas State Office, Division of Energy, Minerals, & Realty, Branch of Fluid Minerals, Billings, Montana and Bureau of Indian Affairs, Great Plains Region, Aberdeen, South Dakota are necessary for the management of these lands.
The BLM manages about 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
