BLM Price Field Office Approves Vegetation Collection Categorical Exclusion

Price, Utah — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Price Field Office has signed the Disposal of Miscellaneous Vegetation Products Categorical Exclusion (DOI-BLM-UT-G020-2025-0038-CX). This decision authorizes the public to collect small amounts of vegetation products—such as firewood, Christmas trees, wildling transplants, and other forest/woodland items—outside of established harvest areas through a permit system. This action supports responsible public use of natural resources while maintaining environmental protections.
