Event Description

DICKINSON, N.D. – The Bureau of Land Management will host the Open Prairie Wild Horse Adoption Event at the Stark County Fairgrounds in Dickinson, North Dakota, July 10-12. 

Around 39 untouched wild horses will be available for adoption on a first come, first served basis. All horses will be available for $125. Potential adopters are encouraged to submit an online application ahead of time at wildhorsesonline.blm.gov

Schedule:

  • July 10: Public viewing from 3-7 p.m.
  • July 11-12: First come, first served adoptions from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m.
