Protection and interpretive signage authorized for Oliver Fuller gravesite

The BLM Cedar City Field Office has issued a final decision on the Oliver Fuller Gravesite Protection CE. The Proposed Action includes protection of and installation of interpretive signage around the previously undiscovered gravesite of Oliver Fuller, a cartographer on the 1870s Fremont Expedition.

Alternate access road approved for Humpback Federal project in Uintah County

The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Alternate Access Road to the Humpback Federal 4-24-8-17: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0092-CE. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will issue Scout Energy Management LLC (the applicant) a right-of-way to construct and maintain an access road. The project location is in Section 24, Township 8 South, Range 17 East, in Uintah County, Utah. The route will be approximately 813 feet on private surface and 92 feet on BLM-administered land in the designated Greater Monument Buttes oil and gas development Unit. The BLM right-of-way authorization only applies to the portion of road on BLM-administered lands.
