The BLM Pocatello Field Office will be hosting a National Public Lands Day Event at Goodenough Creek Campground. Please meet on site at the upper restroom trailhead at 9:30AM. The project will consist of removing and carrying old fencing material such as barbed wire, t-posts, pipe fencing, and wooden posts. Please bring your own work gloves, good sturdy shoes/boots, appropriate clothing, and water.
Most of the area is nicely shaded with the creek nearby, but there may be some off trail walking/hiking in trees and brush. The BLM will have a dump trailer on site to load the old fencing into and will haul off. There is no need to register, just show up that morning.
If you have any questions, please contact Outdoor Recreation Planner Andrew Harsh at 208-478-6362.
