Notice of Intent to Amend RMP for Robinson Summit Substation Expansion

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management Nevada State Director intends to prepare a resource management plan amendment with an associated environmental assessment for the Robinson Summit Substation Expansion and 525 kV Interconnection Project. This notice is announcing the beginning of the scoping period to solicit public comments and identify issues and alternatives. It is also providing the planning criteria for public review.


The BLM manages more than 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation.
