The Bureau of Land Management Lakeview Field Office has issued a decision record for a Determination of NEPA Adequacy (DNA) to collaborate with the Lake County Umbrella Watershed Council and three cooperating grazing permittees to conduct targeted grazing using virtual fence technology. This will improve wildlife habitat for numerous nesting species including northern shoveler, northern pintail, long-billed curlew, among many others and help achieve management objectives outlined in the Warner Wetlands ACEC Management Plan.

The Warner Wetlands ACEC is approximately 4 miles northeast of Plush, Oregon. The decision can be found on the BLM National NEPA Register website at: Warner Wetland Virtual Fencing and Targeted Grazing.
