Lakeview Field Office Issues Decision for Geology Study CE
The Bureau of Land Management Lakeview Field Office has issued a decision record for a categorical exclusion to authorize geologic fieldwork consisting of collecting up to 30 hand‑sized carbonate samples from naturally exposed outcrops, weathered surfaces, and Pleistocene shoreline tufa deposits and water samples from Lake Abert, Summer Lake, and other accessible creeks or rivers.
The geology study will occur approximately in the area of Lake Abert and Summer Lake, Oregon.
