Lakeview Field Office issues decision on Cave SRPs

The Bureau of Land Management Lakeview Field Office has issued a decision record for a categorical exclusion to issue up to two Special Recreation Permits (SRP) for commercial outfitters/guides to operate within Derrick Cave. Authorized use would be limited to no more than four groups of up to 13 clients per day. No more than one group would be permitted to be in the cave at one time. Total use would not exceed 20 authorized use days per year. Commercial guiding will be prohibited November 1 through April 30.
