Event Description

As part of the Freedom 250 initiative, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM)’s Yuma Field Office invites you to roll up your sleeves and make a difference at the Fortuna Pond Clean-Up this Earth Day. Join us for a morning of stewardship as we work together to remove trash and debris from the pond and surrounding area. Your efforts directly support healthy habitat, improved recreation access, and the long-term care of your public lands.

This is more than a clean-up. It’s a chance to be part of something bigger! Through Freedom 250, we’re honoring America’s public lands by giving back to the places that bring us together.

Bring a friend. Make an impact. Leave your public lands better than you found them!

What to bring:

  • Outdoor attire and sturdy closed-toe shoes
  • Hat, water, snacks and sun protection
  • Optional: Work gloves (all cleanup supplies will be provided)
