Free Public Mining Claim Workshop

When: Thursday, May 30th 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

            Space is limited so you must RSVP by May 17th.

Where: The Nugget Casino Resort Southern Pacific Rooms (3rd floor) 1100 Nugget Avenue Sparks, NV 89431

BLM Solid Mineral Adjudication staff will be on hand to provide guidance and tips on:

• Land Status

• Locating and Mapping New Claims/Sites

• Transfers of Interest • An Overview of MLRS

• Waivers and Annual Maintenance Fees

• Surface Disturbance

The State of Nevada will also be available to answer questions and will be providing information on filing with counties. Space is limited so you must RSVP by May 17th- email hsanders@blm.gov

There is no cost to attend the workshop.
