Notice is hereby given that United States Forest Service Road NFSR 40115 (Christian Gulch) is closed where it crosses Bureau of Land Management managed lands. This temporary closure will be in effect starting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 3, 2026, through Sept. 1, 2026, unless rescinded.

This temporary closure is necessary to provide protection to visitors given the fire behavior of the Doublesprings Fire. This closure will be posted at the Challis Field Office and signs with the closure will be posted at the junction where the Christian Gulch Road leaves the Doublesprings Road.
