Crescent Dunes Categorical Exclusion Announcement
The BLM has completed a categorical exclusion and issued a decision memorandum to renew the Crescent Dunes Test Well right-of-way and to assign the Crescent Dunes Solar Energy Project, Crescent Dunes Gen-Tie, and Crescent Dunes Test Well rights-of-way from Tonopah Solar Energy, LLC to Tonopah Energy Center LLC which are located approximately 15 miles northwest of Tonopah, Nevada.
The BLM manages about 245 million acres of public land located primarily in 12 western states, including Alaska, on behalf of the American people. The BLM also administers 700 million acres of sub-surface mineral estate throughout the nation. Our mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of America’s public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.
