Cottonwood Campground Reopens for the Summer
LANDER, Wyo. — The Bureau of Land Management is pleased to announce the completion of the Cottonwood Campground Culvert Replacement Project. Cottonwood Campground will reopen on July 3, 2026.
The Lander Field Office thanks the public for its patience and understanding during this major infrastructure replacement project. The field office looks forward to welcoming visitors back to Cottonwood Campground. Some minor cleanup work may occur after the holiday weekend, public access to the campground will not be impacted.
As visitors enjoy the holiday weekend, the Lander Field Office wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July in celebrating America's 250th anniversary.
