The Bureau of Land Management Burns District Office has issued a Determination of NEPA Adequacy to implement a suite of ESR treatments in response to the 2024 Solomon Fire. These treatments are designed to stabilize soils, prevent the spread of invasive species, and restore native vegetation that provides important habitat for sagebrush obligate wildlife including Greater sage-grouse, mule deer, and pronghorn as forage for wild horses and BLM permitted livestock grazing.
The document can be found on the ePlanning website at: Solomon Fire ESR Plan. For more information, please contact Heidi Lowery at 541-573-4400 or [email protected], or reach out to the Burns District Office at [email protected].
