The Bureau of Land Management Burns District Office has issued a Determination of NEPA Adequacy to stabilize and rehabilitate burned areas within the 2024 Falls, Telephone and Sage Hen wildfire areas. Work will include seeding native and site-adapted species to improve ground cover, as well as planting key shrubs such as sagebrush, bitterbrush, and mountain mahogany to reestablish important shrub-steppe habitat and support wildlife. The plan also calls for resting affected pastures to reduce grazing pressure and allow vegetation to recover, along with installing temporary fencing to protect sensitive areas as they heal.

The document can be found on the ePlanning website at Three Rivers Fires Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Plan.
