BLM seeks public input on OHV grant proposals in northern California
REDDING, Calif. — The Bureau of Land Management invites input for the off-highway vehicle (OHV) grant applications to the California State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. These grants support the Northern California District’s off-highway vehicle management activities, including visitor services, law enforcement, resource protection, planning and monitoring, and maintenance on BLM-managed public lands.
BLM’s preliminary OHV grant applications are due to California State Parks OHMVR Division by 5 p.m. on the first Monday in March (March 2). BLM welcomes community participation in meetings throughout the application process to ensure public input guides the development of these applications.
During the in-person and virtual meetings, personnel from each field office will provide updates on their OHV programs and share details about preliminary grant applications for the upcoming cycle. Participants can register for their preferred sessions through Microsoft Teams.
