CHALLIS, Idaho — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Challis Field Office management is seeking public input on proposed changes to existing campground fees and the introduction of new fees at select sites. The public is encouraged to review the plan and submit comments, which can be done electronically or via mail. Comments will be received and considered through Aug. 8, 2025, and incorporated into the final plan.

“This plan aims to modernize recreation management and ensure sustainable funding for recreation areas,” said BLM Challis Field Manager David Hilliard. “Your feedback is important and will help shape future recreation opportunities in the area.”
