ELY, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comment on the preliminary environmental assessment and proposed herd management area plan for the Antelope and Triple B wild horse complexes in northeastern Nevada.

The Antelope Complex encompasses approximately 1.2 million acres, has an established appropriate management level of 427-789 and includes the Antelope, Antelope Valley, Goshute, and Spruce-Pequop Herd Management Areas. The Triple B Complex encompasses approximately 1.6 million acres, has an established appropriate management level of 472-889 and includes the Triple B, Maverick-Medicine, and Antelope Valley West of Highway 93 Herd Management Areas as well as the Cherry Springs Wild Horse Territory. Both complexes include public and private lands.

“Public feedback on these will help ensure that we maintain a healthy wild horse population and habitat into the future,” said BLM Ely District Manager Robbie McAboy.

The documents can be reviewed at the BLM National NEPA Register. Comments may be emailed to [email protected] (preferred) or delivered to BLM Bristlecone Field Office, Attn: Sadie Leyba, 702 North Industrial Way, Ely, NV 89301.
