BATTLE MOUNTAIN, Nev. – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking public comments for the Bullion Hill underground exploration project in the Crescent Valley basin of Lander and Eureka counties.

If approved, Barrick Gold U.S. Inc. could construct, explore, close, and eventually reclaim twin underground exploration declines and surface support facilities over up to nine years within a 998-acre area.

Additional information is available at the BLM National NEPA Register, where comments may be submitted through the “Participate Now” option. The comment period will close June 5, 2026.
