BLM Seeks Applicants for the 2026 Season of Commercial Guest Climbing Permits in Red Rock Canyon

LAS VEGAS, Nevada — The Bureau of Land Management, Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, is seeking applicants for the 2026 season of Commercial Guest Climbing Permits. The application window is open from June 15, 2025 until August 15, 2025.

Permits are required for commercial rock guiding services at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area (RRCNCA). Commercial Guest Climbing Permits allow companies to guide for one year within RRCNCA for one 10-day or two 5-day periods. Permits are limited to two tours per day per climbing area and 12 people per climbing area per route. Eight permits are available for commercial companies and 4 permits are available for educational institutions. If applicants exceed the number of available permits all applicants will be places in a lottery system to determine the award of the permits.

Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Potential Guest Permit selection will be drawn no later than September 15, 2025. All applicants will be notified of results by September 30, 2025.
