CARSON CITY, Nev – The Bureau of Land Management is seeking comments for a Resource Management Plan Amendment (RMPA) for the Dodge Flat 2 Solar Project.

The RMPA would include allowing solar development on 25 acres excluded from solar development under the Carson City District Office Consolidated Resource Management Plan (CRMP) (BLM 2001) as amended by the Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision for Solar Energy Development in Six Southwestern States. This project is located two miles northwest of Wadsworth, Nevada.

The RMPA would include removal of approximately 608 acres of West-Wide Energy Corridor (WWEC) Reno Connector Corridor 15-17, as adopted in the CRMP (BLM 2001) as amended by the Approved Resource Management Plan Amendments/Record of Decision for Designation of Energy Corridors on BLM-Administered Lands in the 11 Western States (BLM 2009) (2009 West-Wide Corridor Plan), and designation of approximately 92 acres of new WWEC.

The 30-day protest period is from March 3, through April 2, 2026.
