BLM Reopens Public Lands in Garfield County After 310 Fire
PARACHUTE, Colo. — The Bureau of Land Management Colorado River Valley Field Office has rescinded the emergency closure associated with the 310 Fire, reopening all previously closed lands in Garfield County effective today.
Though the area is now open, visitors should use extra caution when recreating on lands burned by the fire. Fire-affected landscapes remain dynamic as vegetation, soils, roads and trails recover, and conditions may change over time.
Visitors are responsible for knowing their location, respecting private property boundaries and complying with all applicable public land regulations, including existing fire restrictions in place.
