BLM reopens Lone Pine Group Campground
ROSEBURG, Ore. - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Roseburg District will reopen Lone Pine Group Campground that is located approximately 10 miles from Glide, Oregon, on July 25 for individual site rentals for the summer and fall 2025 season. Lone Pine Group Campground is adjacent to Rock Creek, a tributary of the North Umpqua River.
“We are excited to announce the opening of one of our campgrounds affected by the Archie Creek Fire in 2020,” said Cheyne Rossbach, Assistant Field Manager. “With the help of volunteers, BLM staff, and Northwest Youth Corps participants we can now open this facility to the public, bringing back one of the first camping opportunities within the Rock Creek corridor since the fire.”
Water is not available at this recreation site, and no open fires are allowed in the campground or adjacent BLM-administered lands. For more information on Roseburg District fire closures and restrictions, please visit our fire restrictions webpage.
Reservations for Lone Pine Group Campground are currently available at recreation.gov.
