BLM proposes hazardous fuels management outside of Price, UT

The Bureau of Land Management Price Field Office has issued a Category Exclusion and decision record under NEPA number: DOI-BLM-UT-G020-2025-0043-CX the Clark’s Valley Hazardous Fuels Reduction Project. The BLM Price Field Office proposes to treat slash from a previous lop and scatter project near the towns of Sunnyside and East Carbon. The Proposed Action would occur across 578 acres of BLM land with the aim to reduce the slash, hazardous fuels, and the risk of large wild fires. This project is located near the town of Wellington, Sunnyside and East Carbon, Carbon County, Utah. T.14S 13 E Sections, 07, 08, 09, 17, and 18, Salt Lake Prime Meridian.
