BLM partners to host National Public Lands Day event near Cody

CODY, Wyo. – The Bureau of Land Management Cody Field Office and the Absaroka Fence Initiative will host a National Public Lands Day opportunity in September.
Saturday, September 27, 8:45 a.m.-12 p.m.: YU Bench Fence Modification. The BLM and Absaroka Fence Initiative will host a volunteer project on the YU Bench, southeast of Cody, to make a stretch of fence more wildlife friendly. Sign up to receive the details. Bring fence pliers and wire cutters if you have them.
It is recommended to wear good work shoes or boots, long sleeves and eye protection. Bring water, snacks and work gloves if you have them. Other tools and supplies will be provided. This project is suitable for the whole family.
