BLM Nevada Issues Closure Order for Tabor Creek Campground and Access Road 1275
ELKO, Nev. – For the safety of the public and firefighters, the Bureau of Land Management has temporarily closed the Tabor Creek Recreation Area Campground and BLM Road 1275. The closure is in response to increased fire activity from the Forleen Fire.
The closure begins at the junction of BLM Road 1275 and County Road 753 (O’Neil-Deeth Road) and includes the Tabor Creek Recreation Management Area Campground.
Located 58 miles northeast of Elko, Tabor Creek Recreation Area is a popular site offering 12 campsites and vault toilets. The temporary closure ensures public safety while fire crews continue suppression efforts in the area.
