The Bureau of Land Management Vernal Field Office has issued Categorical Exclusion (CE) documentation for the Mary Cashen Canyon Road: DOI-BLM-UT-G010-2026-0068-CX. The Responsible Official signed a decision record under which the BLM will issue Uintah County (the applicant) a right-of-way for two existing roads: CR100506 and Mary Cashen Canyon Road. The right-of-way will follow existing disturbance from Simplot’s slurry pipeline and no new disturbance would occur. The project location is on BLM-administered land north of Red Fleet Reservoir in Uintah County, Utah approximately 15 miles northeast of Vernal.
